Good morning and happy Friday everyone! On our last day in Boston my dad surprised me with a side trip to Brookline, which is a suburb of Boston. Before we headed out to the Cape, he asked me if I wanted to go see the home where JFK grew up (for 3 years) and also where he was actually born. Absolutely yes! It is something I had always wanted to see and we figured since we were so close, why not? We made the trip there and went through the house, which was awesome to see. We took some photos, thanks dad for taking the blog photos for this post!, and then made our way out to the Cape for the remainder of our trip.

Since we were heading out to the Cape I was already in a very nautical state of mind. I chose this blue striped skirt with a bow tie in the front (swoon) and pockets. I'm a huge fan of skirts or dresses with pockets. I mean, how can you resist?! This darling white crochet top from Chicwish felt like a dream to wear. Its so soft and has bell sleeves that are not overwhelming. Sometimes I'm all about a dramatic statement sleeve, but this one brings the statement in a smaller way which makes it great for dressing up or down. You could wear this top to a formal event or go more casually for something like grocery shopping.

Spring Time Feeling

Whenever the weather turns nice, I instantly feel the need to pull out all of my dresses and skirts. Spring fever hit yesterday and boy did it feel good! I do have to say that so far we have had a mild winter, which I love, and have even had some warm days mixed in with the blustery cold. I'm not complaining, haha. With some warmth in the air, I grabbed this peony printed midi skirt along with this striped bow tie top. I've always been a big fan of pairing blue and pink together. It's one of my favorite color combinations and one that I use quite frequently. Pretty much every girl I ran into while out also loved the skirt. You know its a winner when that happens! For sizing, I'm wearing a xs and found it to fit perfectly at my waist.

I hope everyone had a fun and safe 4th of July holiday! It's always nice to have the long weekend too. My dad, Ava, and Itook a quick trip down to Rehoboth Beach to cross an item off of my dad's bucket list. He's always wanted to see the fireworks on the beach for the 4th of July and in all the years we've been going there, 26 to be exact, we've never once gone on the patriotic holiday. The town was hustling and bustling with all kinds of activity, red, white, and blue displays of patriotism, and of course everyone gearing up for the big fireworks display on the beach Sunday night. I have to say, it was quite an amazing sight to see and it was Ava's first fireworks show!

There's nothing more festive than red, white, and blue themes for the summer holidays. It's a classic combination that never tires. Another staple in my wardrobe is stripes. I'm always adding more and more striped pieces into my wardrobe since I know I'll be wearing them so often. This midi skirt instantly caught my eye as being the perfect companion to my navy and white pieces. I don't own too many red items and knew this would fit right in. I love the quality of the fabric. It has a good weight to it and feels way more expensive than it really is. I'm wearing a size xs for reference.

Happy Thursday everyone! One more day until Friday. I can feel the anticipation! Today is all about mixing different prints together. Whoever said an outfit should just have one print? Regardless, I'm loving all of the different patterns going on here. Stripes and florals to me are a given. They go with practically anything and can be dressed up or down depending on the occasion. Add in some cute polka dots, I mean how adorable are these shoes?!?, and you have an outfit that just pops. I tried to keep everything in the same color family so it would blend nicely and not completely overwhelm the eye. Black and white with some shades of pink. Have some fun with your fashion ladies!

I've been so enchanted lately with pretty feminine frills. I cannot seem to get enough of them. Even if I'm just going out to the grocery store, I still like to get dressed up to set the tone for the rest of my day. My previous post talked about a more relaxed style, but still always being put together. As soon as I put on this Chic Wish top and skirt, it instantly put me in a good mood. Pretty pink colors, a bow detail, floral prints,  a full skirt, midi length, what's not to love?! I even find myself being more productive when I'm dressed up and that's pretty fantastic.

Happy Tuesday! Here is another Chicwish outfit that I absolutely fell in love with. It is actually a two piece top and skirt set, which only makes it more appealing to me seeing as I could style them separately. The beautiful flower crochet detailing along with the soft blue color are perfect for the spring months. Unfortunately this set sold out already, but I've linked almost exact replica's from Chicwish above. I wanted to keep the colors soft and opted for a Nine West blush envelope bag and mint Zara heels. The heels pictured/linked above are almost the exact same as mine, the only difference being mine are suede and the others are leather. I'm always wearing these, such a style staple! Enjoy loves!!

Good Monday morning to you! I hope everyone had a nice weekend. Mine was jam packed as usual with running around doing errands, baby sitting my dad's dog, and even a little movie time. This is another outfit from Chic Wish. If you haven't already, definitely go check their site out. I love the romantic feel this outfit has, especially with the blush skirt. The bow top I wore for  this outfit as well not too long ago. I've had a color crush on blush for the past couple of years and always seem to gravitate towards it. I found the skirt to fit true to size. If you have a waist smaller than a 26 inch, then it may be a little loose. The delicate pattern of roses only adds to the charm of the skirt. Happy Thursday everyone! I've been waiting for my packages from Chicwish  for a few weeks now and could not have been more excited when they arrived at my house yesterday. I recently discovered this company about three weeks ago and after browsing their online store I knew I was hooked. The brand offers fabulous feminine pieces, especially those midi skirts, and on trend style for almost any age. The prices are fantastic too with every piece being affordable for any budget range. They are located over seas so the shipping does take anywhere from two to three weeks, mine came in about sixteen days, which is what the site had predicted. Though tracking is not available for free shipping, that does cost an extra three dollars, but it you have a large order I would recommend doing that to put your mind at ease.

Both the bow tie top and rose print shorts are from Chicwish and the shoes are from Shoedazzle, my new favorite online shoe source. Almost every pair of shoes is $39.99 with a monthly membership. You do have the option to skip the month and not be charged, but so far I've had too many items on my wishlist to do that. These blush heels are surprisingly easy to walk in and fit true to size. The top and shorts are also true to size and pair with so many different items. I always look for versatility when I'm purchasing to make sure I get the most bang for my buck. I'm absolutely in love with this whole outfit and cannot wait to share more items from my Chicwish purchase.
